The Amazing Jumping Contest
In a cheerful meadow filled with colorful flowers, two bunnies, Bella and Benny, loved playing together. One bright morning, Bella had an idea.
“Let’s see who can jump the highest!” she exclaimed, twitching her fluffy tail.
Benny’s ears perked up. “That sounds fun! But we need to warm up first!”
So, they hopped around, stretching and bouncing playfully. Benny showed off some silly moves:
Twisting to the left,
Then twisting to the right,
And bouncing in a circle!
“Great moves, Benny!” Bella giggled. After their warm-up, they decided to take turns jumping.
Bella went first. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and leaped as high as she could. “Whooosh!” She soared over a patch of daisies and landed with a soft thud.
“Wow! That was amazing!” cheered Benny. “Now it’s my turn!”
Benny concentrated hard. He wiggled his nose, and with a big push, off he went! “Boom! Like a rocket!” he shouted as he jumped higher than Bella did. He landed with a happy thump.
“You jumped so high!” Bella clapped her paws. But soon, they noticed something. The more they jumped, the more they seemed to compare their heights.
“I wish I could jump like you, Benny,” Bella said, feeling a bit sad.
Benny looked worried. “And I wish I could jump as high as you, Bella! You always have the best jumps!”
Then they both smiled. They realized that it didn’t matter who jumped the highest. What mattered was having fun together. “Let’s encourage each other instead!” suggested Bella.
From that moment on, every time one of them jumped, the other cheered loudly.
“You can do it!”
“Go, go, go!”
“Wow, that’s impressive!”
After many more jumps and lots of laughter, Bella leaped into the air one last time, and it felt like the highest jump of all!
“Hooray!” Benny shouted, filled with joy.
“We’re both great jumpers!” Bella beamed. They hugged, realizing their friendship was the real prize.
From then on, Benny and Bella continued to play and encourage each other every day, always believing in themselves and each other. And in the bright meadow, they knew they could achieve anything when they did it with a happy heart.
